Volunteers

The GI Society depends heavily on volunteers in many areas. We're looking for participants of all ages and skill levels to assist with events and other initiatives. If you have any extra time to devote to the GI Society, then we will find a place for you! Here are some of the possibilities:

Leadership

Occasionally, positions arise for event and Advisory committees and the Board of Directors.

Special Events

During special occasions, such as conferences or fundraising events, we appreciate volunteers who can help us keep things running smoothly. Tasks vary widely based on each event. Tell us what you're good at, and we'll find you a spot!

Office and Shipping

We always welcome skilled workers in the office for data entry, envelope labelling, stuffing, and stamping, filling pamphlet orders, and fundraising preparations.

Support Groups

Support group facilitators (all across Canada) are wanted, to make sure our groups run smoothly. This is such a rewarding volunteer job.
